Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator · Location: Charleston, South Carolina Industry: Lubricants Manufacturing / Industrial Production Employment Type: Full-Time Shifts Available: · 1st Shift: Day shift Job Summary · We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our lubricants manufacturing plant in Charleston, South Carolina . This role is responsible for safely moving raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished lubricant products throughout the facility to support production, warehousing, and shipping operations on 1st shift . Key Responsibilities · Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts · Transport raw materials, drums, totes, and packaged lubricant products throughout the plant · Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately · Stage materials for production and prepare finished goods for shipment · Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report safety or maintenance concerns · Track inventory movements using warehouse systems or manual logs · Follow OSHA, plant safety, and hazardous material handling procedures · Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas · Support additional warehouse or production tasks as assigned Required Qualifications · High school diploma or GED required · Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification · 1+ year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred · Ability to safely handle drums, totes, and palletized materials · Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods · Willingness to work assigned 1st shift , including overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications · Experience in a lubricants, chemical, or industrial manufacturing environment · Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and spill response · Experience with inventory management or warehouse systems Work Environment · Onsite · Industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment · Exposure to machinery, lubricants, and chemical products · Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Compensation · $24/hour Benefits:   · The benefits available with this position include: · Ongoing Training (RSO, Systems, Software Programs, OSHA Safety, JJ Keller, etc.) · Continuous Employment Development and Learning · Ongoing Advocacy, internal assets with HSE, Legal and HR teams and experts to aid in Employee Career Path and Advancement · Dental Insurance Coverage · Vision Insurance Coverage · Basic Life Insurance & AD&D · Long Term Disability · Voluntary Short-Term Disability · Direct Deposit · Cenergy is a dynamic, diverse, woman-owned company that has provided stellar support to our clients globally for over 25 years!
