Material Handler (2nd Shift)

Job Title: Shipping Material Handler Job Summary:The Shipping Material Handler is responsible for preparing, organizing, and moving materials and products for shipment. This role ensures orders are picked accurately, packaged properly, and loaded efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Duties/Responsibilities:Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company proceduresLoad and unload trucks, containers, and palletsMove materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipmentVerify product quantities and inspect items for damage before shippingLabel packages and complete shipping documentation accuratelyMaintain organization of shipping and staging areasAssist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when neededFollow safety policies and proper handling procedures at all timesCommunicate with shipping supervisors and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillmentRequired Skills/Abilities: Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred but not requiredBasic math and counting skills for order verificationAbility to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred or willing to obtain)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least 1-year related experience required.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularlyHours are 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 2nd shift premium available
