Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist - 3rd Shift Job Description The Quality Assurance Specialist will primarily work on the production floor, assisting the operations team with verifications, conducting general walkthroughs, performing onsite reviews, and executing mini audits to ensure compliance with standard procedures. The role involves problem-solving, such as initiating deviations, and reviewing documents including executed batch records, cleaning records, and log books. A substantial portion of the time will be spent on the floor with a smaller portion in the office. Different areas require varying levels of gowning, ranging from safety shoes to full gowning. Responsibilities + Assist the operations team with verifications on the production floor. + Conduct general walkthroughs and onsite reviews. + Perform mini audits to ensure compliance with procedures. + Initiate deviations and propose solutions to problems. + Review and issue documents such as executed batch records, cleaning records, and log books. Essential Skills + Proficiency in quality assurance practices. + Experience in FDA, CAPA, audit, and document control. + Familiarity with batch record review and pharmaceutical processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in any science discipline preferred. + 2+ years of experience in a regulated industry (GMP/FDA/ISO) for Specialist level. + 5+ years of experience in a regulated industry (GMP/FDA/ISO) for Sr. level. + 7+ years of experience in a regulated industry (GMP/FDA/ISO) for Lead level. + Open to candidates with an Associate's degree and 10 years of experience. Work Environment The position operates on a shift schedule with 8 employees in total, divided into two teams of two employees on day shifts (4am to 4pm) and two teams on night shifts (4pm to 4am). There are currently openings on the 3rd shift. Employees will start training on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm for 6-8 weeks. The majority of the work is on the production floor, with some time spent in an office setting, interacting with the EQMS system. The environment may require varying levels of gowning. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision on day 1 of employment. The company provides Basic Life insurance, Basic AD&D insurance along with Short-term disability on all full-time employees. Employees have the option to elect Voluntary Life, Voluntary AD&D along with Long-term disability coverage. Health and Flexible spending account options. Full-time employees can contribute to their 401k upon hire and are eligible for a company contribution. Annually, the company offers 160 hours of vacation & 40 hours of sick time (both pro-rated base on hire date) and 9 paid holidays. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Madison,WI.
