The ideal candidate: Has experience in teaching and special education Has passion for the underserved Professional verbal and written communication skills Enjoys an independent and fast-paced work environment Will work hard and have fun in the process Commits to a weekly schedule with each assigned client Job Responsibilities: Provide quality 1:1 instruction or small group tutoring Record session data to reflect client progress toward goals Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors Being open and receptive to feedback Requirements: · · -Certified by the Florida Department of Education, or have a Statement of Eligibility form the Florida Department of Education or Non-Certified, but have a BA. · -Completed the District’s background and fingerprinting process as required by the School District · - Have successful experience and training in reading or math instruction with students of diverse backgrounds, including children with special needs or non-native speakers, when appropriate; Must have a reliable means of transportation to travel to case locations.
