This position will engage with all aspects of full-cycle accounting to include transaction processing, journal entries and account reconciliations as well as the preparation and analysis of financial managerial reporting. This will be a great opportunity for someone to have exposure to an entire financial operation and understand how an organization depends on this critical work. This internship is expected to start on or around June 1st for up to 3 months. Hours will be Monday-Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm. Expected to work up to 24 hours a week. Essential FunctionsApplicants must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college, university or enrolled in an accredited graduate school. Coursework and interest in accounting, and related fields is preferred. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office software applications. Strong oral and written communication skills and comfort with numbers and quantitative reasoning are necessary. Experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred. This position requires a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with supervision from a variety of subject matter experts. Required Education and ExperienceAll individuals offered an internship must provide acceptable proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States. Proof will be required prior to starting.Intern must be able to successfully complete a background investigation which may include driving record review.
