Utility Worker I & II - Water Distribution

Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the Utility Worker I & II positions in Water Distribution. The Utility Worker I & II in Water Distribution reports to the Water Distribution Supervisor. The primary job duties of this position include:  * Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work on the water distribution system * Operate a variety of equipment, machinery, and tools used in department projects. * Perform technical duties locating underground water assets in public streets, alleys, utility easements, and right-of-way using GIS maps. * Responsible for completing vehicle inspection forms and daily work logs. * Operate heavy equipment, including excavation equipment, backhoe, and vac truck * Subject to emergency call-out and must be able to work overtime, including nights, weekends, holidays, and be on stand-by as required.  * Other duties as assigned. The salary range shown is the minimum for Worker I and the maximum for Worker II. The range for each level is listed below the requirements. The salary range listed in the posting is the minimum for a Utility Worker I and the maximum for a Utility Worker II. The pay range for each position is listed after each position's requirements above. This is a driving position, and a motor vehicle report will be run as part of our pre-employment process.
