Job DescriptionHeavy Equipment MechanicJoin the Advance Services team! We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join a leading pipe manufacturing company in the Grand Prairie area. This role involves maintaining the plant's mechanical, diesel, electrical, and electronic equipment.Shift: 5:00am - 3:30pmPay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experienceResponsibilities Have a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components, including the use of special diagnostic instruments, with the ability to install, test, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of production and building equipment. Maintains and cleans equipment, performs required inspections, completes paperwork, and assumes accountability Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs and discuss with Head Mechanic for approval and repair as needed Ability to operate welder, cutting torch, electrical/power and manual hand tools for repairs. Requirements Valid Driver's license and clean driving record. Understand basic electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics Welding/fabrication experience.Why work with Advance Services, Inc.?
