Job Title: Mechanical Designer Job Description We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to support a dynamic and innovative program using Siemens NX and Teamcenter modeling software. You will be involved in a paperless environment requiring experience with Product Manufacturing Information (PMI), which integrates assembly instructions, dimensions, and data sheets into comprehensive drawings. Essential Skills + 5-10 years of experience in military, DOD, or aerospace mechanical design. + Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter, with at least 2 years of recent experience. + Daily use of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in recent work experience. + U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Responsibilities + Develop layouts and prepare and revise detailed or assembly drawings of moderate complexity. + Design relatively simple mechanical and/or electromechanical components. + Gather missing information required to complete assignments. + Perform work in accordance with standard drafting practices. + Apply a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing methods to ensure fit, form, and function. + Supervise and guide lower-level drafters. + Work according to established policies and standards. + Use CAD and PLM software in accordance with drafting standards, with a requirement for knowledge of Teamcenter/NX. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1 year of PMI Product Manufacturing Information experience in NX. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHANDLER, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
