We are seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal with family law experience to join our Fort Worth office.Job SummaryThe Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys in handling family law cases, ensuring efficient case management and exceptional client service. This role involves legal research, document preparation, client communication, and case coordination under the supervision of licensed attorneys. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in Texas family law procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements for family law cases.Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information, such as statutes, case law, and court rules, specific to Texas family law.Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained, organized, and filed with courts in a timely manner.Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and schedule meetings or hearings.Prepare and organize exhibits, financial disclosures, and other materials for mediations, hearings, and trials.Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings, depositions, and deadlines.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of paralegal experience in family law, with knowledge of Texas family law procedures and terminology.Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and case management software.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and interacting with clients and court personnel.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work.Knowledge of Texas court filing procedures and e-filing systems.BenefitsBonusHealthDentalVisionPTO401K Match
