Position Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client in Alexandria, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to reduce downtime Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities Assist with installation, setup, and relocation of equipment Maintain tools, parts inventory, and maintenance records Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents Basic knowledge of PLC systems (a plus) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, and industrial equipment Basic welding or fabrication experience Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs (PMs) Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Schedule & Pay Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-Hour Shifts Saturday & Sunday Overtime Overtime: Saturday & Sunday.
