Job Description

Saint John's Resort is seeking a talented and collaborative Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role supports marketing and brand initiatives across the Humanitarian Hotel portfolio, helping bring hospitality experiences to life through thoughtful, strategic design. In addition to supporting Saint John's Resort, the Graphic Designer will dedicate up to 40% of their time to creative projects for philanthropic initiatives led by the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation, with a particular focus on The Catholic Initiative. This work will center on advancing mission-driven efforts through thoughtful, high-quality design. Responsibilities will include the creation of fundraising materials, marketing collateral, email communications, and visual assets supporting events and donor engagement. The Graphic Designer will work on a wide range of creative projects, from concept development through final production, while ensuring all work aligns with brand standards and communicates effectively across digital and print channels. This position requires strong visual storytelling, the ability to collaborate across departments, and a passion for hospitality, branding, and creative problem solving. Our visual identity is elevated, timeless and quietly confident, and design efforts should strive to reflect the heritage of the property and refined experience guests can expect. Key Responsibilities * Lead original design projects from initial concept through approval, while proactively communicating challenges and managing expectations, timelines, and deadlines. * Present and clearly articulate creative concepts to internal teams and stakeholders. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, events, digital, and leadership to support brand initiatives. * Produce high-quality creative assets across multiple platforms and brands * Ensure all work aligns with established brand guidelines, including brand identity characteristics, typography, photography style, and color palettes, while pushing creative boundaries. * Maintain continuous awareness of emerging design trends, tools, and industry best practices. * Collaborate closely with and report to the Director of Marketing Skills/Qualifications: * 5+ years of professional graphic design experience; agency or brand experience preferred. * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Advertising Design, or related field. * Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Figma, Canva & Keynote. * Exceptional typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills * Ability to work independently, balanced with strong team collaboration with people from a variety of backgrounds. * Diligent attention to detail and organization. * Comprehensive understanding of graphic design, digital and print production processes * Confident in designing to website user experience/wireframe development. * Proficient with AI tools to accelerate insights and productivity, while ensuring outputs are original, ethically applied, and guided by human creativity and expertise. * Self-motivated learner with strong problem-solving ability. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and work on multiple tasks with a variety of clients and team members. * Must be flexible, resourceful and able to handle quick-turnaround requests. * Must possess a proactive, positive attitude and can-do, entrepreneurial spirit. * Experience with Google Suite/Microsoft Office products and project management software.
