Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Large Horizontal Boring Mill Machinists for projects located in the North Tonawanda, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope: * Operate and maintain large horizontal boring mill (LHBM) equipment * Use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and scales to verify dimensions and tolerances * Read and interpret engineered drawings and maintain specifications during machining * Observe machining process and product quality to detect malfunctions * Troubleshoot, adjust and reprogram machine controls as needed * Sharpen and replace worn tools * Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes Requirements * 8+ years of prior machinist experience * Experience with Mastercam Software preferred Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
