Purpose of the Position:The Maintenance/Facilities Technician functions as a person, who is able to perform, diagnose and make repairs in all areas, in addition to maintaining the appearance of the Dealership.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate with all vendors for estimatesKeep facility clean (dump all trash cans, floors kept swept and mopped, etc.)Replace light bulbs as neededKeep dumpster area and ALL parking lot areas clean/free of debrisPerform minor building/grounds maintenanceResponsible for maintaining KPA/Safety StandardsRepair (patch parking lot patches)Any required painting/touch upsYearly Lift InspectionsBe available for any Manager's request for assistanceQUALIFICATIONS:Valid Florida Driver LicenseAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals and procedure manualsMust be self motivated High energy/sense of urgencyMust be able to pass a Background and MVR checkBENEFITS:Medical, Dental and Vision for Full Time employees working 30 hours or more401K after 1 year of employmentLongevity Fund/Bonus12 days of paid time off and 3 personal days earned your first yearFive paid holidays (New Years Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)GM training for allClosed SundaysWORKING CONDITIONS:The Facilities Coordinator-Maintenance Technician will be standing for long periods of time. S/he will be moving around the entire dealership frequently. S/he must be able to adjust to a variable fast or slow environment. S/he must be able to bend, stoop and lift within the parameters of the responsibility of the job. S/he will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, wet and/or humid conditions, the risk of electrical shock, fumes or airborne particles, toxins or caustic chemicals, high noise levels and explosives.
