Welding Technician (Semiconductor Construction)

This position focuses on automated orbital welding and supports tool install, piping, and process systems on high-profile fab construction projects in Arizona.Position: Welding Technician (Semiconductor Construction)Location: North Phoenix, AZ (TSMC Site - 85085)Type: Temp to Hire Salary: $38-$45 | DOEStart Date: ASAPResponsibilities: Perform automated orbital welding on stainless steel and high-purity tubing per semiconductor standards. Assist with pipe fitting and mechanical install as needed for fab construction. Read isometric drawings and follow layout instructions for pipe routes. Operate orbital welding machines and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards. Work in or around cleanroom environments following contamination control procedures. Collaborate with field teams to maintain schedule and minimize rework.Qualifications: 3+ years of orbital or automated welding experience, preferably on semiconductor or high-purity gas piping projects. Prior experience supporting fab construction projects Familiarity with tubing prep, purge processes, and welding stainless steel (316L, etc.). Ability to read blueprints, isometrics, and fabrication plans. Comfortable working extended hours or weekends during construction peak periods. Must have valid U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available). OSHA 10 or 30 certified is a plus.
