Why this roleThis is a high-visibility growth hire with a defined training timeline: begin learning in small territory and step into Regional Sales Manager responsibilities after ~90 days based on execution and readiness.Responsibilities (First 90 Days).Own a defined territory in the Houston market and drive clinic-based growth (Very small territory to learn products)Build relationships with ophthalmology practices (physician + key office stakeholders)Execute call cadence, account planning, and territory prioritizationTrack activity and results; communicate pipeline progress and winsResponsibilities (Regional Sales Manager Phase)Lead and coach ~6-8 field reps across Texas, Louisiana, and OklahomaDrive consistent execution, accountability, and performance improvementSupport key accounts, ride-alongs, training, and adoption strategiesDeliver regional growth and reporting to leadershipRequired Profile3 + years Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred, ideally in ophthalmology / eye careDemonstrated success selling into physician offices/clinicsLeadership readiness: mentoring, informal leadership, or people management experienceStrong organization, communication, and consistency in field executionHouston-based (or immediate Houston metro)Up to 50% overnight travel CompensationBase: approximately $125k depending on experienceQuarterly performance bonus: ~$4k-$5kQuarterly team override once managing: ~$2.5k (in addition to territory bonus)Car allowance: $950/month + gas; corporate card for T&EFull benefits; employee health premium covered
