Field Service Technician I (Apprentice)

Summary:Must possess or be able to develop subject matter expertise of STULZ Precision Cooling and Ultrasonic Humidification products. The technician must possess a strong aptitude to master new product technologies, electrical schematics, and product/controls integration. Must reliably provide Factory Authorized Services, including: Start-up, Basic Product training, Commissioning Assistance, Preventive Maintenance, Diagnostic, Break/fix, and BMS interface. Must possess and consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and excellent time management, customer service, computer, verbal, and writing skills. The technician must accurately report all quality assurance, installation and application deficiencies affecting warranty or unit performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide technical support via phone when not scheduled for serviceCoordinate the status of all service activity with Field Service CoordinatorsReview in advance any technical information required for scheduled serviceMinimize costs to the company from service and warranty transactionsThoroughly document all service activity and promptly submit all reportsProvide follow-up documentation to customers from site visits for start-up, warranty, and performance evaluationsReport all expenses accurately and promptlyMaintain vehicle inventory as necessaryAvailable for overtime and off-hour assignmentsAvailable for travel as assignedAttend Product Training sessions as assignedOther duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
