This role is responsible for maintaining common areas, assisting with trash management, supporting move-in/move-out preparation, and responding to routine upkeep needs across assigned properties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between multiple sites while working independently and as part of a team.Key ResponsibilitiesProperty & Grounds MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, stairwells, breezeways, lobbies, laundry rooms, clubhouses, and fitness centersPick up litter and debris throughout the property grounds, parking areas, and walkwaysEmpty trash receptacles in common areas and dog-waste stations as neededMonitor overall property appearance and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptlyTrash & Waste ManagementSupport daily and scheduled trash collection and compactor upkeepAssist with bulk-item removal and proper disposal in accordance with property guidelinesHelp ensure trash and recycling areas remain clean, organized, and compliantUnit & Turn SupportAssist with move-in and move-out preparations, including basic cleaning and light touch-upsSupport unit turns by removing debris, sweeping patios/balconies, and preparing units for maintenance or vendor accessMulti-Site SupportTravel between assigned properties based on daily or weekly schedulesAdjust priorities based on property needs, occupancy changes, and special projectsCommunicate effectively with property managers and maintenance teams across sitesSafety & ComplianceFollow company safety standards and proper use of cleaning products and equipmentUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredMaintain a safe working environment for residents, guests, and coworkersQualificationsPrior experience as a porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, or facilities support role preferredAbility to work independently and manage time across multiple locationsReliable transportation and ability to travel between propertiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, walking, and standing for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, welcoming communitiesDependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
