The Camera Hardware Electrical Engineering group is responsible for the electrical design and integration of camera systems for all Apple products. As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will solve complex challenges at the intersection of analog circuit design, high-speed signal integrity, and power management within highly constrained physical environments. Our primary objective is to deliver technically excellent camera hardware that is robust and optimized for high-volume mass production, setting the industry standard for performance and quality. We are looking for a proactive engineer with a dedication to high-quality design to join our collaborative, cross-functional team and help drive the development of future camera technologies. Analog and digital circuit design including Schematics capture and supervising layout for substrate, rigid PCB or Flex. Knowledge of layout strategies for Substrates, Rigid PCB, Flex, or Rigid-Flex including good understanding of material selection, Stack-up planning and noise suppression. Experience with high-speed interfaces: MIPI, DisplayPort, HDMI, PCIE, etc. Circuit Design: LDO, Buck, ADC, DAC, Op-AMP, etc and control interface like I2C, SPI, SPMI, UART, etc. Hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and debug. Experience with high volume consumer electronics design for manufacturing, testing and reliability (DFM, DFT, DFR). Knowledge of CMOS image sensor, ISP or image processing. Excellent written, verbal and communication skills focused on teamwork and collaboration in a dynamic cross-functional environment. Statistical data analysis and visualization (ex. JMP). Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant field of study.
