Work Location: ONSITE - Dallas, TX Interview Process: must be able to in-person interview in Dallas, TX Responsibilities: Develop the software components of the following. All of them require AA sign-off. Work will be solely completed by the vendor personnel with guidance from AA internal resources. Vendor personnel will collaborate with AA's internal resources such as the Pricing IT application team (including architect, cloud platform engineers and DBAs ) and AA enterprise shared services team to fulfill the required development and deployment. Following AA's IT enterprise coding standards to re-write a legacy application using the latest UI, Java and cloud technologies. Deploy it to Azure Cloud. Authentication and authorization of AA and Partner access to the application and context GUI with sections of data elements represented by various UI components including complex Grid editing, and data validation. Backend and workflow services supporting UI needs Integration with Sharepoint Libary or other document list and archive tools. Using PoweAutomation or customized workflow process to manage workflow between working groups. Rewrite Rule and FootNote automation batch processes for rule and footnote filing automation to ATPCO. Integration with a persistent layer for data querying and store. Archive 75% code coverage using unit test cases Create a regression test bed to cover 100% defined use cases. Performance tuning. Create and execute required services, end-to-end, UAT, performance, concurrency, and stress tests. Running the new application in parallel with existing tools and fixing issues. Provide on- call support with AA internal team's assistance for earlier released modules. oResources will not be responsible for being on call for any additional AA Pricing Systems outside of the module their team is directly supporting. Address discovered security vulnerability in code. Develop the following non-functional components. All of them require AA sign-off. Develop defined CICD pipelines for application integration and deployment automation. Implement High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategy by design. Implement designed dashboards for system health status, application status/audit/alert/log/operation matrix/cloud cost Agile Development methodology will be used for this project. Members are required to attend scrum Ceremonies to report status daily and groom user stories. The velocity of each member will be tracked via AA's Agile tool. The development KPI's will be tracked using the same Agile tool, i.e. development cycle, burndown rate, deployment count etc. Testing Environments: Development, Stage and Cert for integration and UAT, PROD for final deployment. For the technical lead role, we anticipate the following in addition: Collaborate with AA Pricing IT team to contribute and oversee to the technical approach of application design. Review, revise, and approve the content of these design. Lead technical solutions throughout the product lifecycle, from initial discovery through final deliverables. Collaborate with AA internal resources team for the functional and non-functional implementation and deployment. Escalate technical issues when needed to keep the project on track and minimize risk. Create, maintain, and communicate application standards and procedures related to design, development, and other associated activities. Provide technical assistance and feedback, as needed, related to the application. Apply appropriate technology to reduce costs and/or improve productivity. Maintain an effective approach to problem-solving, multi-tasking, coordinating, and scheduling in accordance with stated goals to ensure visibility and predictability. Skills: BS of Computer Science or related fields. Agile development experiences preferred Full stack development skillsets. GUI, backend service with the persistent data layer, and batch processes development experiences. 8+ years of full-stack development experience using Agile and test-driven methodologies. 8 year+ Java, restful services, and Angular/React/JavaScript hands-on experience. Experience with Sharepoint and Power Automation services. Minimal 5 year Azure cloud development experience using Azure compute/container/monitor/integration/database services. Minimal 5-year DevOps tool such as Git, CICD pipeline, Dynatrace. Minimal 8-year experience with service end-point testing tools and regression testing frameworks.
