We work collaboratively with stakeholders from all functional areas in the business, primarily in the drafting and negotiation of agreements and the provision of legal advice.Responsibilities:Prepare, review and negotiate legal contractsProvide legal advice on a variety of matters, including technology agreements, data security, intellectual property, licensing, litigation, procurement and artificial intelligenceProactively manage risk through training and coaching of business partners on legal and compliance mattersSuccinctly and effectively communicate legal issues to internal clientsEffectively integrate legal and business knowledge to develop practical business solutionsSupport the successful execution of LexisNexis' goals and strategiesQualifications:JD and licensed to practice law in either the United States or Canada2-5 years' experience in-house or law firm environmentProven experience in technology mattersEnthusiasm for implementing automation and legal technology into your practiceAbility to work independently in a fact-paced business environmentStrong ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships across the businessWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
