Promenade at Tuxedo Place - Summary: Specifically assigned to clean, common areas, hallways, bathrooms, sitting rooms, foyers, stairwells, elevators, floors and walls, offices, and any area that would be assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or director. Also, can be assigned to laundry and dining room. Hours preferred 9am-5pm Reports To: Director of Maintenance/Housekeeping Qualifications: Possess the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English Work as a team member with other staff members to consistently maintain a kind, caring and respectful attitude toward residents, residents’ families, guests and fellow staff. Be sensitive to the special needs of the seniors and demonstrate a genuine caring attitude. Encourage residents’ maximum independence, promote residents’ freedom of choice and individuality, and respect the privacy of all residents. Able to read, write and communicate in English Like working with seniors May require lifting or bending. Must be able to lift 25-35 pounds Duties: Duties are including but not excluding any direction that administration may feel is needed for the safety and comfort of the residents. General vacuuming Dusting Cleaning mirrors and windows Cleaning toilets, sinks, tubs, showers General cleaning and sanitizing
