Description The Sourcing Coordinator ensures compliance within the established procurement process by qualifying and onboarding prospective subcontractors (Providers), while providing efficient and effective business support alongside service delivery and finance teams. Performance metrics for this role will include adherence to provider onboarding process, document acquisition and maintenance, and enforcement of procurement related policies and procedures. This coordinator will be expected to develop intermediate understanding of subcontracting terminology, measures, concepts, principles, and strategies.Duties & Responsibilities: Identify service providers within specific geographic markets for stormwater management and lift station projects. Qualify providers for awarded projects by following the procurement process with due regard to project scope and client stakeholder requirements. Communication and management of required compliance documents. Foster relationships internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers and other service providers. Collection and maintenance of project dates for high volume providers and maintenance visits. Problem solving and clear communication to enable efficient and effective provider management decisions. Data entry in various software systems as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, business administration, construction management or other related field Proficient in Microsoft office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) High level of accuracy and precision in data entry Understanding of contracting and procurement terminology, measures, concepts, principles and strategies Understanding of legal terminology related to procurement Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for quality Demonstrated ability to work effectively on variety of projects concurrently, in a demanding environment, under tight deadlines Previous experience in environmental services or construction industry preferred.
