Job DescriptionSummary:We are a fast-growing, independent compounding pharmacy serving the Tampa Bay Area with a focus on high-quality sterile and non-sterile medications for specialized therapies including ophthalmology, wellness & anti-aging, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and weight loss. As we experience rapid volume growth, we are seeking a dedicated Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to play a critical role in ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant preparation of patient-specific medications. This position is essential to maintaining our commitment to precision, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about advancing their skills in a dynamic compounding environment.Responsibilities:Prepare non-sterile compounded medications including suspensions, creams, solutions, ointments, capsules, and suppositoriesVerify compounding formulations with the supervising pharmacist prior to preparationAccurately measure, weigh, and combine ingredients in accordance with prescriptions and established protocolsProperly package, label, and apply correct beyond-use dating to all compounded productsMaintain comprehensive records including cleaning logs, equipment logs, daily temperature checks, and scale verificationSubmit completed compounds and documentation for pharmacist review and approvalParticipate in ongoing training, team meetings, and quality improvement initiativesFoster a collaborative and professional work environment through clear, respectful communicationRequirementsActive Florida Pharmacy Technician RegistrationMinimum 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacy technicianHigh school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferredDemonstrated knowledge of non-sterile compounding standards, including USP and hazardous compounding guidelinesExceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasksProven ability to follow SOPs and regulatory requirements consistentlyStrong documentation, record-keeping, and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal and teamwork abilitiesReliable work ethic with a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvementPrior compounding experience is strongly preferredSchedule: Monday - Friday; closed on weekends and major holidaysLocation: Tampa Bay Region, Florida (Northern Pinellas County)Employment Type: W2, Full-Time, OnsitePre-employmentdrug screen and background checkrequired (company-paid)BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experiencePaid holidays and vacation time after eligibility periodStable, Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek with no nights or weekendsSupportive, collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional developmentEqual Opportunity EmployerImmediate start available
