Operations & Engineering Intern

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!Responsibilities:Support ongoing Operations and Engineering projects, including data collection, analysis, and documentationAssist with automation-related initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity within current operationsSupport project work related to ETO (Engineer-to-Order) inquiries and operational workflowsAssist with the NSF 61 program setup, including documentation support and coordination with internal teamsContribute to the HOU Fast Lane growth model, supporting process improvements and operational scalabilityHelp prepare reports, presentations, and tracking tools to support project updates and management reviewsCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams on ad hoc improvement initiativesQualifications:Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysisAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsInterest in manufacturing operations, automation, or continuous improvementFamiliarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization concepts (a plus, not required)The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
