Position OverviewGlobal Guardian's Asset Security Division is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the Security Operations Center Monitoring Operator role to join our fast-paced Charlotte, NC office. The Monitoring Operator will cross train in Video monitoring, Intrusion detection, FA, and Asset Tracking. We are looking for a team member who is extremely efficient and wants to grow with us. This is an entry-level position.Job ResponsibilitiesFunction as a point of contact for monitoring assets and performing security protocolsRespond to events and alarms through Video Monitoring, Intrusion detection, FA, and Asset TrackingAct on security alerts, including dispatch of local authorities when necessaryAble to handle life-saving situations utilizing event driven Artificial IntelligenceConduct site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarmsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocolsMaintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any eventsPerform other duties as assignedExperience / Requirements1-3 years' experience in the security industry preferredMilitary and / or security background preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detailAbility to multitask and a strong work ethicExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team membersPosition Type and ScheduleFull-Time (FT), hourly non-exempt positionPay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 an hourHiring for 2nd shift (middle) and 3rd shift (night) - open availability neededEqual Opportunity Employer StatementGlobal Guardian is an equal opportunity employer.
