CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-FridayA Manufacturing Painter performs preparation and painting of mobile devices.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces by cleaning and other methods of device preparation.Select and mix paints based on model color, as matched, and entered in system.Apply coats of paint, clear coat, and primer (if necessary) to match OEM finish.Ensure application of paint correction on all damaged areas of devices.Follow safety protocols and use appropriate equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, cleaning and storing them properly after each use.Complete projects within specified timeframes while adhering to quality standards.All other duties assigned, based on the business of the division's goal.Required Skills and ExperienceProficiency in surface preparation techniques, paint mixing, and application methods.Excellent manual dexterity and hand eye coordination.Knowledge of different types of paints, as well as their properties and applications.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.Excellent communication skills and professionalism.Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.General knowledge of OSHA Standards.Preferred Skills and ExperienceWillingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or technologies in the painting industry.Certifications in refinishing techniques, ASE or I-Car preferred.Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsWarehouse environment.Ability to work in a paint booth with a PAPR device.Ability to perform tasks such as lifting (equal to or excessing 50 lbs.), bending over, kneeling down, elevation of the arms above the head.You will love working in our family-oriented company!
