Maintenance Technician Part-TimeLocation: Our Lady of Victory, NorthvilleEmployment Type: Part-TimeReports To: Director of FacilitiesPosition SummaryOur Lady of Victory Parish in Northville is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of repairs and routine maintenance across our church, school, and parish facilities on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is a versatile, hands-on professional with a broad range of technical skills who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for our parish community.Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs Inspect buildings and facilities for damage or maintenance needs Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe environment across church, school, and parish grounds Assist with event setup and teardown for parish and school functions Support occasional special events throughout the year, including some weekends and holidays Perform other duties as assignedRequirements Previous experience in general maintenance or a related field Knowledge of basic building systems and repairs (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to stand or walk for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors during seasonal weather Ability to have a flexible work schedule Must possess a valid driver's license Completion of Protecting God's Children training (provided)Preferred Qualifications Experience in electrical or plumbing maintenance Familiarity with faith-based or school environments Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems and emailHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter to Kim Smith, kimsmith@Applications will be reviewed as they are received until the position is filled.
