This is a fully remote opportunity within a mid-sized, nationwide CPA firm. The ideal candidate brings strong technical audit skills, prior EBP audit exposure, and the ability to guide junior staff while maintaining excellent client service.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute employee benefit plan audit engagements (including 401(k), 403(b), pension, and health/welfare plans).Ensure audits comply with ERISA, DOL regulations, and firm quality standards.Prepare and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related deliverables.Supervise, coach, and develop junior staff throughout audit phases.Communicate audit findings, timelines, and expectations clearly to clients and internal leadership.Stay current on accounting and regulatory updates affecting employee benefit plans.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver efficient and high-quality audit services.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.CPA license or active CPA eligibility is required.3+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit.Strong understanding of employee benefit plans and ERISA requirements.Prior experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.Strong communication, organizational, and client service skills.Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a remote environmentBenefits Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
