Job Title: Intern Associate (Architecture - Summer 2026)Location: Denver, COStudio: Students will rotate between the Denver For Sale and High Density StudiosDenver For Sale: Our highly acclaimed Denver For Sale studio pride themselves on strong, longstanding relationships with their clients. Building on a solid foundation of detached single family design, they have translated their knowledge to the build-to-rent sector, establishing themselves as BTR experts in the Mountain West and beyond. From sprawling active adult communities, to mixed typology and mixed use developments, Denver FS combines a foundation in excellent design with a deep understanding of what builders and homeowners want. Denver High Density: Focused on a variety of multifamily density types, what makes this studio successful is their dedication to an ethos of close collaboration between team members. Together, they work to produce multifamily work that is attractive, context-appropriate and effective. Quickly establishing themselves as multifamily design experts, Denver High Density has a growing resume of work on the Front Range, along the Wasatch and around the Mountain West. With team member coordination and ingenuity as a strength, this studio aims to further establish itself as a leader in the utilization of innovative construction technologies and branch out into the hospitality market. Outside work, you can find our Denver teams together at a river cleanup, Nuggets game, or on a hike. Role OverviewAs an intern associate, you will support the project team by assisting with and contributing to active design projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate and curious about architecture and sustainability, someone who displays a positive attitude and is unafraid to ask questions. This role is an opportunity to show talent and initiative; you will work cooperatively with a professional team to complete project deliverables. What You Can Expect this SummerGain experience on both the design and technical sides of a project teamDesign in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUpParticipate in site visits and client meetingsExperience opportunities to work with project teams on projects under design and constructionDevelop relationships and build camaraderie with your peersBenefit from a curriculum of sessions led by KTGY's key leaders Key Job FunctionsParticipate in the following design phases: Site Planning/Conceptual Design/Schematic DevelopmentDesign DevelopmentConstruction DocumentationConstruction AdministrationAssist with distribution of files, prints, etc.Research materials and colors, prepare color boards and presentation materials.Organize and maintain product data and material samples.Consistently re-examine work as completed to verify proper execution; yellow out redlines as work progresses.Edit and revise drawings.Participate in and support field observation, measurement and photographic surveys as requested.Apply standards and quality control measures.Other duties as assigned. Required Skills and AbilitiesAccurate and detail oriented.Ability to research and learn various codes and ordinances.Basic proficiency using the following software:Revit (Required)AutoCAD (Preferred)SketchUpAdobe SuiteMS Office Required Experience and Education Entry level position. No professional experience is required.Minimum of 2 years of college completedMust be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's level architectural/planning programThe wage range that the Company expects to pay is $20.00 - 22.00 per hour.There is currently no deadline because KTGY is accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
