Job Title: Event Operations AssistantDepartment: Facilities & OperationsReports to: Sr. Manager, Event OperationsPosition Summary:Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the Event Operations Assistant will work directly with the Event Operations team in many aspects of FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium events including set up, teardown, and event production. This part-time position (25 hours/week) will help ensure all events are executed flawlessly by assisting the Stadium and Event Operations team in ensuring that TQL Stadium is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible. The Event Operations Assistant will work approximately 3-4 days a week from 9:00am - 2:00pm, depending on availability.What You'll Do:Provide event support and coordination for all TQL Stadium events such as MLS games, private events, and other public and private eventsEvent preparation for all stadium events including set up of facility (trash cans, tables, chairs, gates, etc.)Effectively communicate and collaborate with Stadium & Event Operations, Guest Experience, Security, Grounds Crew, and HousekeepingRead and interpret floorplans, written documents, and layouts to ensure event arrangements meet client requirementsAssist with the coordination of stadium and internal events to include:Serve as point of contact for special eventsSet up of operations in meeting and event spacesEnsure all areas involved in event space are ready prior to the event day including cleanliness of all involved areasTrack event operations equipment inventory and maintain organized storage areas Assist with ensuring stadium cleanliness and organized storage areasImplement and enforce stadium facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for event space usageActively participate in stadium major events, including setup and breakdownOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring: Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activitiesAbility to work creatively among a team ordinated environment as well as work independently to achieve quarterly and annual sales goalsAbility to proactively plan and trouble shoot issues at a fast paceAbility to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and prioritiesAbility to work independently and as a part of a high functioning teamWhat You'll Need:Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED1+ year experience working in event operations or related fieldExperience working in an event venue atmosphere that consists of various size and types of eventsMust be detail ordinated and capable of working on multiple events simultaneouslyAble to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessaryProficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and ether event booking software as appropriate Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time and occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessaryWhy You'll Love FCC:FCC welcome giftsResume and profile reviewsTour of TQL Stadium and MHTCCommunity volunteer opportunitiesDiscount off team store merchandiseJob shadow opportunitiesPaid hourly and/or college credit opportunitiesAbout FCCFounded in 2015, FC Cincinnati is a Major League Soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
