Nesco Resource is now hiring for a 1st shift Electrical Assembler and Panel building Tech at a manufacturing facility in Gastonia If you are highly skilled in reading schematics, equipment repair/maintenance, and are strong in problem-solving skills please apply. Skills/Qualifications: Able to read and understand basic measurements Able to read and understand wiring schematics Know the basic function of PLC's, Inverters and Drives Know difference between 480v / 120v / 24v AC power Know difference between AC power & DC power Positively identify colors of wire and size per AWG Good trouble shooting skills and equipment repair/maintenance skills Electrical background skills in electronics Strong attention to detail Job Description/Duties: This position requires knowledge and ability in the field of electrician with an emphasis on PLC boards, drives and motor controllers, ladder logic and industrial grade electronics. Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings in order to assemble quality products Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment. Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth work operations Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies Verify specifications by measuring & inspecting completed component Resolve electrical problems by addressing issues to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources as necessary Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting malfunctions Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Document project builds &/or repairs by completing production and/or quality forms as applicable Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as needed Maintain a safe and clean work area Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
