Come join our team!The Project Manager is responsible for leading software implementation and technology initiatives from concept through delivery, while also serving as a key contributor in business analysis and product ownership activities. This role combines project execution leadership with responsibility for defining business requirements, managing scope, and ensuring delivered solutions meet business needs.The Project Manager partners closely with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and actionable delivery plans. This individual serves as both the delivery lead and a solution owner, ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical execution.Responsibilities of Position: Lead end-to-end software implementation and technology projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeoutDefine project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, financial targets, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholdersDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and executive-level status reportingManage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processesMonitor project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure financial disciplineCoordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business users, vendors, and external consultantsEnsure smooth transition to operational teams post-implementation and capture lessons learnedLead requirements discovery sessions and stakeholder workshopsTranslate business needs into documented functional and technical requirementsDevelop business process maps, gap analyses, and solution documentationCreate and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability documentationOwn and prioritize the project backlog in partnership with stakeholdersAct as a functional product owner during project delivery, ensuring scope alignment and business value realizationLead user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case development and validation of business outcomesFacilitate decision-making related to scope trade-offs, enhancements, and solution designProvide clear, concise status updates to leadership and stakeholdersEnsure adherence to project management best practices and company standardsSupport training, change management, data migration, and go-live activitiesEscalate issues appropriately while driving timely resolutionPerform other duties as neededSupervisory Responsibility:This position will not manage employeesSkills & Abilities Needed for Position:Experience serving in a Product Owner or functional solution lead capacity preferredDelivering enterprise software projects on time and within scope and budgetStrong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models)Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving enterprise environmentFamiliarity with change management and organizational readiness practicesExperience & Knowledge Needed for Position:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in project management required5+ years of experience in combination of project management, business analysis, or hybrid delivery roles requiredExperience performing both project leadership and business requirements ownership requiredExperience managing vendors or third-party software providers requiredPMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE2, or similar certificationExperience using project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, ServiceNow PPM)Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, Fleet, Operations platforms, etc.)Physical Requirements in a Regular Workday:Rarely lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling a max of 10 lbsFrequently sittingAdditional Working Conditions/Aspects: Ability to work flexible hours; expected to work nights and weekends as neededAbility to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidaysLegally eligible to work in the United StatesValid driver's license (if applicable)Must successfully complete pre-employment testingMust be able to read and speak the English languageThis job description is intended to describe the general nature, complexity, and level of work to be performed by employees assigned to this position and is not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and/or skills required.
