We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable and Invoice Processing NOT AP. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on AR and be able to process a minimum of 70 invoices per day, very busy environment. - Processing invoices for Bookstore/Auxiliary vendors (50%). - Actively participating in the monthly close process, ensuring completion of all accounts payable processes and procedures by month-end deadlines (10%). - Reconciling vendor statements against the accounting system, including vendor balances, and conducting research to address discrepancies as needed (20%). - Preparing monthly inventory balance sheet reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and collaborating with unit managers to resolve issues (5%). - Managing credit memos, matching documentation with open invoices (3%). - Following up on open accounting items, processing, reconciling, monitoring, and reporting accounting activity to completion with minimal supervision and guidance. - Reconciling bi-weekly freight bills for all USC Bookstores (3%). - Requesting check refunds in lieu of credit memos for payments on inactive accounts (2%). Regarding the onboarding process, for Campus - Non-Clinical Onboarding, it can commence pending a criminal check if the role does not involve driving or handling cash.
