CNC Mill Machinist

CNC Mill Machinist (4/5-Axis Fanuc Controls) Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm Location: Tempe, AZ Pay: $25-$32/hr Join a precision aerospace shop running state-of-the-art 4/5-axis Fanuc-controlled mills. We need experienced machinists who can handle complex setups, tight tolerances, and high-quality production. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate 4/5-axis CNC mills with Fanuc controls – fixtures, tools, and programs for first-run & repeat parts Load/unload, start/stop machines; monitor feeds, speeds, and indicators to maintain quality and performance Watch for issues (dull tools, vibration, malfunctions) and make real-time adjustments to keep production running smoothly Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools, probes, templates, and fixtures to ensure conformance Read advanced blueprints with GD&T callouts and calculate/set machine movements accordingly Perform basic program edits, probe routines (work offsets & in-process verification), and macro adjustments Required Qualifications 5–7+ years CNC machining experience with proven 4/5-axis mill operation Strong proficiency on Fanuc CNC controls (the same control used on all our machines) Solid GD&T knowledge and application Aerospace machining experience preferred (tight tolerances, complex parts, regulated environment) Comfortable writing/editing simple programs and using probe routines/macros Advanced blueprint reading and trigonometry skills Preferred / Nice to Have Familiarity with Matsuura or Makino machines (Fanuc knowledge is the priority) Background in 5S, Lean Manufacturing, SPC tools, and machinist inspection techniques COM055 Nesco Resource is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
