Our collaborative culture emphasizes strong relationships, thoughtful instruction, and a commitment to helping every student thrive.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTeach core academic subjects, including Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies using developmentally appropriate and engaging instructional strategiesPlan and implement lessons that align with curriculum standards and grade-level goalsCreate a positive, structured classroom environment with clear expectations for student learning and behaviorWork collaboratively with the Fourth Grade team to ensure consistency and alignment across the grade levelPartner with co-curricular teachers to support cross-curricular learning experiencesCommunicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and the Division Head regarding academic progress and student well-beingParticipate in divisional chapel services, supervisory duties (including recess and carpool), and other school activities as assignedAttend grade-level, department, division, and faculty meetings as requiredFoster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment that supports students and families of diverse backgroundsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree (required)Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experienceStrong classroom management and communication skillsA genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growthCommitment to professional growth and continuous improvementPreferred Qualification:Master's degree in Education or a related fieldSt. Martin's Episcopal School is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
