Production Line Worker-2nd Shift

Caruso is a family owned, 4th generation company that delivers fresh ready-to-eat, and pre-cut produce, sandwiches, salads, and fresh meal kits to retail distribution centers and direct-to-retail stores all over the USA and we are growing!We are looking for 2nd shift Production Line Workers to start at 3pm starting in March. Must be flexible to work Saturday or Sunday as needed. Job Summary:The line worker will pack or package a variety of products by hand from a conveyor belt.Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Duties/Responsibilities: Counts, measures, and weighs products. Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling. Lines product on packaging material using hands. Examines containers, products, and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met. Stacks boxes on pallets. Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow directions. Ability to assess products for quality compliance. Good time management skills. Basic understanding of principles and processes of customer service.Education and Experience: One year of general work experience preferred.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
