**Description:** You will be an Aircraft Mechanic II for our Special Operations Forces Global Logistic Support Services /(SOF GLSS/) team, based in Crestview, FL/. Our team is responsible for modifying military aircraft and ground vehicles to meet the evolving operational needs of the SOF community/. **What You Will Be Doing** /-The applicant must have the experience and ability to perform the following: Read/comprehend complex Mechanical drawings, troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solution in accordance with company drawings, procedures and specifications/. /-The Aircraft Mechanic III will work closely with Team Leads to ensure aircraft is delivered on time and within budget/. **Why Join Us** This position supports our Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services contract, which is the U/.S/. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U/.S/. government contract that requires a company/-sponsored clearance to start/. /#mfcnews **Basic Qualifications:** Minimum of four /(4/) years of sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications or demonstrated aptitude/. Employee must have a knowledge base and experience in general aviation maintenance practices/. Strong aptitude to read and interpret complex aircraft mechanical drawings - Blueprints, TCTO's, Supplemental Work Instructions, Service Bulletins, Installation Drawings, ETC Experience with installation and removal of special fasteners and tooling Able to perform with demands of precise set limits, tolerances, or standards/. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen **Desired Skills:** Heavy modification, integration, or repair sheet metal experience on aircraft/. Ability to work at heights/. Ability to maintain respirator fitness qualification/. Ability to perform confined space entry/. Experience with C/-130 aircraft/.
