We're a fast-growing startup based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, on a mission to organize, optimize, and orient the world's computation.About the RoleWe're hiring a QA Engineer to drive both manual and automated testing across our web applications and backend services in a Linux-first environment. This role is central to shipping reliable, high-performance software for a complex, always-on platform. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to define quality standards, catch issues early, and help deliver confident releases.This role is onsite 5 days a week in our Los Angeles (Westwood) office.What You'll DoExecute manual, exploratory, and regression testing for web apps and backend servicesMaintain and expand test plans for existing and upcoming featuresDesign high-signal test cases and build/extend automation where it matters mostValidate requirements and ensure releases are stable and defect-freeInvestigate failures, identify root causes, and file clear, actionable ticketsPartner with Product and Engineering on acceptance criteria and release readinessMinimum Qualifications3+ years hands-on testing of web applicationsStrong knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding toolsExperience with writing test plans and test cases for assigned featuresExperience with test automationKeen eye for detailNice to HavePassionate about the future of AIAPI testing with Postman/Newman or similarProficient with LinuxExperience with load testing toolsBenefitsWork 5 days a week from the Vast.ai HQ in Los Angeles (Westwood) in an ambitious, fast-paced, AI-centered startup environmentHealth, dental, vision and life insurance coverageMatching 401KPay: $40.00 / hour
