Job Description: The incoming Tech Writer will help develop the companys resources/documentation into a new platform which utilizes a unified search capability. They will be responsible for maintaining the documentation library, indexing materials, and collaborating with other Teams stores of information/materials. Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Separated item focus: Knowledge Management Identify, create, revise, and maintain document templates Create, maintain, and organize instructional documents for platform products Communicate metrics and demonstrate results to an audience of business partners Maintain document libraries and enterprise communication site Ensure content and format is consistent across all documentation Determine procedures for version control and lead others by example in dogfooding best practices (ensuring appropriate role-based access controls, etc.) Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities Identify best practices and drive cross-functional adoption Conduct research and user testing to ensure documentation meets the needs of the users. Develop and deliver communications such as Teams presentations, Newsletter articles, and training/onboarding materials Tech Writing Write and edit technical documentation including materials such as processes, specifications, user guides, and tutorials. Review and update existing materials to ensure a consistent use of tone and terminology. Produce clear and comprehensive documentation-as-code for reusable software references or modules Collaborate across technology teams in a large organization Work with subject matter experts to learn and translate complex topics into technical documentation. Work with Product Manager to determine the size of work and set deadlines. Create diagrams, charts, and other visuals aids to explain complex topics or processes.
