Controller

A growing technical manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and finance operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and actionable financial insights.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting functions and ensure GAAP complianceLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesPrepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and performance metricsEstablish and maintain financial controls, policies, and process documentationManage product costing, inventory valuation, and margin analysisOversee billing, accounts receivable, cash management, and collectionsDevelop financial dashboards and KPIs to support operational decision-makingQualificationsStrong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practicesExperience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and inventory managementProven budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experienceStrong analytical and communication skillsAerospace or Defense Manufacturing background requiredAbility to develop product costingExperience with annual budget preparation and variance analysisAbility to partner cross-functionally and lead finance operationsSalary & BenefitsSalary range: $180,000 - $220,000 (commensurate with experience)Performance-based bonus potentialMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer contributionPaid time off and paid holidaysProfessional development and continuing education support
