The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, with experience in both plaintiff and defense litigation. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a variety of labor and employment matters, representing clients in disputes, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice on employment law issues, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, and harassment cases.Represent clients in litigation involving labor and employment disputes, including negotiating settlements and appearing in court.Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks to ensure compliance with applicable laws.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client advice.Manage a caseload, including maintaining client communication and meeting deadlines.Stay updated on changes in labor and employment law and their implications for clients.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, including PAGA litigation.Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.Effective communication and negotiation skills.
