Title: QA Engineer (Automation) IIILocation: 10503 N. Tantau Ave, Cupertino, CA - HybridDetails:Be part of the engineering team creating health features on Watch. The Health Sensing team has a catalogue of health features we ship to customers every year. We're looking for a Quality Engineer who has strong experience developing and executing automated tests, building up and maintaining the testing infrastructure to make sure all of our shipping features continue to work as expected.In this role, you'll work with development and quality engineers to test number of complex health features on next version of Watch hardware and watchOS. You will execute tests in the timely manner to provide fast and actionable feedback to the development teams. You will also help strategize how to develop robust, scalable, and reliable infrastructure to support this testing.If you are a highly motivated engineer with aspirations for product quality, cultivate learning, and lead this efforts across teams at Client's, we want to talk to you!Key Qualifications:• 5 years of experience in consumer hardware and software test engineering, utilizing manual and automated methods• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prolific and effective problem/defect identification; identifying and driving critical problem resolution• Effectiveness in balancing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines, all while keeping to a holistic visionC Experience diagnosing and debugging complex systems that involves both hardware and softwareC Practical proficiency in shell/CLI methodology, version control system such as Git and some experience in test automation (Python and XCTest)C Exceptional communication and collaborative skills including networking, negotiating, and documentationSkillsC Ability to think creatively and innovate to solve sophisticated problemsSelf-motivated, proactive, details-oriented, and enthusiastic about user-focused design & high-qualityproductsDescription:This position requires someone with a passion for Quality Engineering in support of delivering high quality products to clients customers, as well as being a phenomenal partner with the Health Sensing Engineering teams. Thecandidate should:C Have strong experience in developing and executing manual and automated tests on hardware device to validate system functionality and performanceC Have experience reporting and filing issues in the issue tracking system with the relevant urgency and all the necessary informationC Design and recommend logging telemetry to improve failure triaging efficiency and gather quality metricsC Participate and/or drive post mortem discussions to think strategically about how to prevent similar issues in the futureAdditional Requirements:C Experience with managing a device lab that host multiple test devicesC Experience with testing embedded systemsC Familiarity with health-regulated device or software testingC Familiarity with digital signal processingC Hardware and software testing and troubleshooting experienceC Debugging and triaging system-level or algorithm-level test results and failuresC Detail-oriented, great tester/debugger, great communicatorC Good Python programming experience is preferred, but not required#TB_EN#ZR
