Job Type Full-timeDescription OUR BENEFITS Company-Paid Health InsuranceEmployer-Funded HRA BalanceCompany-Paid Life InsuranceAdditional Voluntary Insurance OptionsEligible For Annual Pay IncreasesEligible For Bi-Annual Bonuses3% Annual 401(k) MatchPaid Time Off & Company HolidaysCompany-Paid UniformsUp to $500 Annual Tool Allowance$1,000 Employee Referral BonusJob Title: Truck Fabricator TechnicianReports to: Fabricator Team Leader / Director of OperationsDepartment: OperationsJob Summary: Responsible for custom fabrication of customer's trucks.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Support daily functions including, but not limited to:Support all daily functions of the shopFabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassisUtilize tools such as:TorchesPlasma cuttersShearsPunch pressesDrill pressMetal cutting sawsFabricate parts as neededWeld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniquesOther duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organizationRequired Skills/Abilities:General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up processGeneral understanding of truck componentsExperience with Welding/FabricationAbility to work alone with minimal or no supervisionWorking knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)Working knowledge of company software and proceduresGreat attitude and ability to work with othersGood communication skills, written and verbalAttention to detail and good organizational skillsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentCurrent regular driver's license to move our vehiclesForklift operator certificationOverhead crane operator certificationPhysical Requirements (representative but not exhaustive):Sitting, crouching, kneelingManual finger dexterityHeavy lifting; 30 pounds or moreTwisting, bending, reaching, and stretchingLong periods of standingExposure to shop noise and dustExposure to moving mechanical parts and vehiclesExposure to hot and cold temperaturesAbility to work 45.7 hours weekly with some Saturdays as neededCore Values:Integrity with a strong moral compassExceptional work ethic with gritTeam player attitudeInnovationRequirements Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check.Must have a valid drivers license to move our vehicles.Must be able to work from 6am-3:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.Salary Description $24.00-$27.00 per hour
