Azure Cloud Architect

Position Summary:Azure Cloud Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role partners with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to architect enterprise-level cloud environments and guide cloud strategy and governance.Core Responsibilities:Design and architect Azure cloud solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS modelsLead cloud migration initiatives from on-prem to AzureDevelop architecture standards, governance, and best practicesImplement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategiesEnsure security, compliance, and identity management using Azure AD and related servicesOptimize cost management and performance within Azure environmentsCollaborate with DevOps teams on CI CD pipelines and automationProvide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teamsRequired Qualifications:5 plus years of experience in cloud architecture or senior cloud engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure servicesExperience with networking, virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, firewallsExperience with Azure AD, RBAC, and identity managementKnowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or ARM templatesExperience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or PythonUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI CD pipelinesExperience with security best practices in cloud environmentsStrong documentation and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Azure Solutions Architect Expert certificationExperience with hybrid cloud environmentsExperience with containerization, such as AKS and DockerFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
