Job Title: Journeyman Combo Pipe WelderLocation: Indianapolis, INReports to: Company OverviewMaddox provides specialized cryogenic and mechanical services for air separation/cryogenic systems, industrial process piping, fabrication, installation, construction, maintenance, confined space rescue for air separation, wastewater/water treatment, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemical, and other process industries.MIG is a part of the TransTech family of businesses. With a strong company culture built on a family atmosphere, we define success by how we impact the lives of the people around us.Job Summary The Journeyman Welder is responsible for laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems and pipe supports used to transport air, water, steam, petroleum, and other liquids and gases. This role also includes the layout and installation of equipment, along with performing additional duties as needed to support project requirements.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.Perform TIG and Stick welding with a minimum of two years of experience.Execute high-quality X-Ray welds on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe.Ensure all welding work meets safety and quality standards.CompetenciesTwo (2) years of verifiable TIG and Stick Welding experience.
