Senior BAS Engineer

Title: BAS EngineerLocation: Remote + Travel (30%)Salary: $110,000 - $125,000We are a boutique company that works globally. We deliver critical infrastructure support systems in advanced high-tech facilities. We monitor systems currently in place in Data Centers across the globe. We are currently in growth mode and are in need of some new engineers. Position OverviewAs an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the development and implementation of automation systems for building management and data center applications. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for automation software and systems including BMS, BAS, and SCADA.Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and design solutions for data center components including generators, UPS, and RPPs.Develop and maintain automation applications using SQL, VBA, , and Visual Basic.Implement communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus, and SNMP in system designs.Utilize IoT technologies and standards like OPC and BACnet to enhance system integration and functionality.Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high performance and reliability.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.We leverage Iconics for our BMS/EMSProven experience in automation software and systems for building management or data centers.Strong understanding of data center components and their functionalities.Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP/IP, RS485, Modbus, SNMP, OPC, and BACnet.Experience with programming in SQL, VBA, , and Visual Basic.Knowledge of IoT technologies and their application in automation systems.BenefitsMedicalDentalPTOBonus
