Job DescriptionThe primary focus of the Treasury Operations Senior Associate is to ensure all cash operations tasks are completed timely and accurately. The senior associate will monitor the payment platform to identify any failures or processing disruptions. Servicing activities include managing borrower payments and other posting activity. Additional data administration responsibilities include updates for new accounts and template maintenance. The position will be located in Lower Gwynedd, PA.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the duties and provide coverage as needed for Treasury Operations Associates. Including borrower receipts, transaction postings, maintaining payment instructions and batch posting reconciliations.Review instructions input by Treasury Operations Associates to ensure payment and auto debit data is accurate and documentation meets internal compliance standards.Work with various servicing business units to answer questions regarding posting forms and other payment applications.Troubleshoot and escalate payment application issues, failures or delays. Including but not limited to inbound and outbound file transmission failures.Daily comparison between bank activity and system generated transactions.Advance funding, tracking and reporting.Perform monthly allocation of funds from borrower cash management accounts.Monthly and quarterly cash balance reporting for senior management.Various system and administrative duties with regards to bank websites and internal applications.Coordinate the opening of accounts upon the establishment of a new bank relationship and establish entitlements to associates.Perform testing for application releases and upgrades.Write, maintain and test written policies and procedures on an ongoing basis for department related responsibilities and revise as needed.Role may include supervisory responsibilities for a team of 2-3 associates.Core CompetenciesProblem solving and decision making to ensure client satisfaction while managing the risk of the companyDemonstrated ability to organize & prioritize work; effectiveness in managing multiple tasksFlexibility and ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities; work productively in a fast-paced, evolving work environmentHighly developed computer skills, specifically using MS Excel, WordPro-active team playerEstablish and monitor policies and proceduresInitiative in identifying, designing and implementing process improvements in day to day duties Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in and support a team environmentExcellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatoryQualificationsBachelor's Degree preferred.Supervisory experience preferred.5+ years related work experience, preferably in mortgage banking or financial services environmentWorking Conditions: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements.Note: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.Newmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
