CONSTRUCTION CARPENTRY CREW LEADWHAT THE JOB ISThe Construction Carpentry Crew Lead will work closely with client Site Superintendents and General Superintendents to support day-to-day project operations. This role is dynamic and hands-on, requiring flexibility to perform a variety of tasks that may change daily. You will be responsible for traveling to multiple job sites on a weekly or sometimes daily basis to assist with physical tasks as needed. At a minimum, you will be sure to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in collaboration with site leadership and subcontractors. We believe in, "there is no job beneath me" mentality with a focus on carpentry skills and leading a team. We work together as a team in all we do.WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FORLeading a team with an additional 2+ carpenters and or general laborers on projectsPrepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for daily operationsTransport and handle materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and efficient mannerBasic to intermediate level carpentry, caulking, layout, square, commercial metal studs, ALT ceilings, dry wallCarry out manual labor tasks under minimal supervision, following instructions from supervisors and adapting to evolving site needsInstall and assemble temporary structures and job site signage, including scaffolding, ladders, and enclosuresOperate heavy and light construction equipment safely such as forklifts, skid steers, lulls, and rental machineryOperate basic construction equipment including pumps, generators, shop vacs, power tools, etc.Assist with light demolition and general site teardown workAccurately track and document daily assignments, ordering materials, contributing to clear communication and project progress reportingStrong ability to be adaptable and multitask in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsMaintain and clean shop tools and equipmentWHAT YOU ARE BRINGING TO THE TEAMStrong carpentry skills with an emphasis on commercial framing!Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to prioritize and complete tasks independently with minimal supervisionExperience leading a team is required Flexible and dependable, available for night shifts, weekends, and off-hours work as project demandsSelf-motivated team player with leadership qualities and a proactive work ethicFriendly, approachable, and professional demeanor; excels in collaborative, non-confrontational environmentsProven background in commercial construction labor with experience across multiple project typesStrong communication skills; coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teamsSkilled in real-time problem solving and decision-making under pressureAbility to handle multiple projects and multi-task individually and as a teamHands-on experience operating power tools, equipment, and construction machineryConsistently maintains a safety-first mindset, following site protocols and best practicesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to work in an environment that requires a strong sense of physicalityCapable of standing and walking for extended periods in various job site environmentsPhysically able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, and access confined spaces as neededAble to safely lift and carry up to 50 poundsWilling and available to work off-hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project and client needsBENEFITSMedical benefits premium paid as 70% (Employer covers)/30% (Employee covers)Dental/Vision/Life/LTD/AD&D 100% covered by employer5 Paid sick days/yrCOMPENSATIONStarting at $20-$25/hr.
