Industrial Custodian (2pm -10:30pm)

The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Industrial Custodian to ensure a clean facility. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of the facility and ensure that equipment and building are safe and well-functioning. As a qualified candidate you will have knowledge and experience in maintaining and inspecting to ensure optimal operations. Our main goal is safety for all our employees and as a solution oriented professional, you will ensure the entire team is working under the best conditions.ResponsibilitiesRoutine Maintenance of major building equipmentSchedule regular inspections for necessary equipment (HVAC, fire extinguishers, etc)Clean and sanitize office areas and bathroomsClean, mop and vacuums floorsEmpty and remove trash/recycling materialsMaintains outside walk areas, including sweeping debrisDusts and wipe down furnitureMoves cabinets, boxes and equipment to clean areasSometimes using ladders, dust and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts fixturesEstablish an in-house inventory of cleaning suppliesSupport the various departments within the buildingAssess and recommend maintenance needs as the business growsWorking ConditionsWork involves daily exposure to allergens (such as cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil).QualificationsHighly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common senseCompassionate and strong work ethicAdapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environmentAble to communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levelsHighly motivated able to work among a team with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulnessAdapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environmentMust understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTIHigh attention to detail, time management and accuracyPrevious cannabis experience not requiredAdditional RequirementsMust pass all required background checksMust be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industryMust possess valid driver's licenseMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageMust be approved by the DOH to receive an Agent badgePHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (80 pounds with assistance)The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role.
