The Job Coordination Manager will work under the direction of the VP of Operations to ensure positive customer service, profitability, and departmental performance outcomes. Department support and development through training, process improvement, and tool and resource development is the primary focus of the Job Coordination Manager. Establishing KPIs and baseline performance metrics will provide a foundation for ongoing development and benchmarking of progress.SUMMARYThis position is to specialize in fabricating solid surface (Corian) countertop materials where a significant amount of hand fabrication is required. Many applications will require wood backers be designed and built by the fabricator to support the project after installation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRead and interpret plans and blueprints to produce solid surface countertops within tolerances and specificationsOperate power saws, routers, and hand tools of various sizesSand and polish countertops with skill and finesseUse glues and caulks to join seams and partsPhysically lift and move substantial partsMINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONSGreat creativity and problem-solving skillsGreat time management skillsStrong math skillsSelf-StarterDetail orientedWorks well in a teamwork environmentPREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS1-3 years fabrication/building experienceMINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift up to 100 lbs.Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfacesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow all safety requirementsAbility to use measuring tools
